The sex of the man includes the penis and the bursae which contain both
testicles:
- The penis It has two aspects: when it is relaxed,
it contributes to the miction and in erection in the sexual relations,
that these have a procreative either playful end.
If we can call it also penis, the popular language always very full
of imagery gave to it very numerous names: dick, cock...
It is fixed to the bones of the pubis through the erectile bodies and
more particularly by both corpora cavernosa. The penis is partially
covered with hairs which become denser as we get closer to its root;
this pilosity, variable according to each, goes on at the level of bursae
and of pubis. The distribution of the hairs of this last one is particular
to the man: she(it) is triangular, clocks at the top.
The size and the volume of the penis modify during
the erections.
According to certain statistical data, in rest state, the penis length
would vary from 7,25 cms to 11,5 cms for a circumference from 7,5 cms
to 10,5 cms while ' in erection a length would go from 12 to 21 cms
and the circumference going from 8,5 cms to 12 cms. If it is useless
to clarify that there is no correlation between the length of the nose
and that of the yard(penis), it is necessary to know that for the same
individual, the size( of the penis is always the same in erection, what
is not the case in the rest state, wherever any situation of stress
it was physical as the cold or psychic as the fear is going there to
reduce the size.
It often happens that young men come to consult for a sex of "
small size". They acquired this faith comparing with their companions
in changing rooms or in showers. The faith in this small size provokes
a stress which is going to reduce, actually, the size and the volume!
The shape and the pigmentation of the penis(
more or less brown tint) vary according to every individual and are
most of the time normal, excepted when these modifications are recent.
In a natural way, the Mediterranean of white race have a darker pigmentation
of genitalia; furthermore, this pigmentation is not totally homogeneous
on all the parts of the penis and the sex generally.
The shape of the penis can present a curvature which is perfectly normal
when it remains harmonious and moderate. However, certain diseases or
congenital malformations can provoke a curvature or rather a more important
coudure that makes sexual intercourses difficult and even painful
The penis is covered with a relatively
thin skin, crossed by numerous superficial veins of
which some are very visible especially in erection. This skin goes on
towards the extremity of the penis, the glans, possesses a different
consistency compared to the penis.
This part of skin which recovers the glans is called the prepuce.
The prepuce is held to the bottom of the glans
by a net which we name the brake.
If generally the glans is covered by the prepuce in the rest state,
it is much less, even no more covered in erection. There is sometimes
a brevity of the brake preventing from taking the top off completely.
The rupture of the brake can happen when it is too short and when the
partner is too much tightened or not enough lubricated; this rupture
is sometimes partial what is going to make painful sexual relations
because of micro-cuts of the brake. The rupture can also be complete
and very impressive because there is at the level of the brake a small
artery and not a vein which is going to break. The bleeding can seem
important. It is not very grave: it is necessary to compress with the
finger, to put penis under the cold water so that provokes a detumescence
(loss of erection) and to visit the doctor. On the other hand it happens
that the ring realized by the extremity of the prepuce is too small
forbidding to take the top off, permanently or only in erection: it
is a phimosis, more or less tightened. It is necessary, in that case
to realize a small benignant intervention which consists either in ablating
the prepuce, it is the circumcision which is not practised any more
most of the time, or to widen this one.
The circumcision
is even practised nowadays in a ritual way by the Jews and the Muslims
without any medical, but only religious reason. During a long time circumcision
has also been practised in a systematic way by the North Americans for
"reasons" of hygiene, which have never been scientifically
proved! Actually,
this practice would tend to disappear .
It is important that the man learns very early to take the top off to
a part to avoid the constitution of adhesions (it is the skin of the
prepuce that sticks to the "skin" of the glans) and on the
other hand to alliminate the smegma (it is the whitish substance which
develops naturally at the level of the crown of the glans in the
neck of glans penis; if it is not cleaned, ferments giving a nauseous
smell and can be also a source of inflammation, even infection.
The extremity of the glans ends by the urethral meatus here from passes
by the urine during the miction and where from springs the sperm during
the ejaculation.

It
is necessary to know, because it is a frequent source frequents
of anxiety,that it exists at certain man's, around the crown of
the glans some tiny small white pimples , big as heads of pin:
it is the crown pearled of the glans; it is physiological and
will persist during all the life. You should not try thus especially
to ablate them. It is the same thing for the grains of Fordyce:
they are yellowish papules as small visible grains of semolina
of wheat under the skin of the penis and even bursae. They are
small heaps of sebum. |
